Tourism Chamber of Guanacaste features Birds Watching Tour at the sunny side of Costa Rica.

With more than 850 species of birds found in a relatively small area, Costa Rica offers the most avid bird lover an opportunity without comparison. From the forests of oak trees, to the mountain Range of Talamanca, the highest mountains of Central America, to the cloudy forests of Monteverde and the National Park Braulio Carrillo, or even the forests of the Peninsula de Osa, the bird lover will discover an extensive variety of habitats filled with amazing specimens of birds. The National Park Guayabo and Negritos; as well as the Pajaros Island are small islands that offer protection and rest to many migratory birds. Within Guanacaste, the best places for observation are Palo Verde, Bolaños Island and the National Park Volcan Tenorio.
